Overlooks
Overlooks or walk-through viewing areas allow users to stop and move out of the main travel way. This provides a safe space to take a break or enjoy the view. Overlooks are available with select truss geometries and limited dimensions.
Lighting
There are countless options to light your bridge. The fastest growing option is LED pods. They are low voltage, ease to install and maintain. When mounted in a standard rub rail they light up the deck at night, but are inconspicuous during the day making them less susceptible to damage.
Fencing
When additional screening is desired, Wheeler can detail chain -link or wire panels. Finishes include galvanized, painted, vinyl –coated and stainless steel. Options vary widely in price, so be sure to review with us the goals of your project.
Signs
Wheeler can produce plasma cut weathering steel signage or work with your sign vendor to provide attachment points on the bridge. Larger signs may require custom detailing to accommodate the added weight.
Utility Hangers
Wheeler can include accommodation for utility hangers. Provide us with the weight and attachment requirements and we can detail connection points for the utilities. All utility design and installation is by others.
