Fabricated Crossing Timbers for a Smoother Driving Experience
Wheeler’s crossing timbers are fabricated using 17” wide Douglas Fir timbers. They’re beveled and sized for crossing specifications, which creates an easier installation experience. Our efficient design eliminates the need to panelize smaller pieces with rods, producing a smooth surface for drivers.
All of our crossing timbers are framed and treated prior to delivery. They’re beveled for traditional tie spikes and plates, as well as pandrol plates and clips. Due to our in-house fabrication and quality-control, you can trust that your crossing timbers will perform for years to come.
Durable Crossing Timbers Treated With QNAP
All of our crossing timbers are treated with oil-borne copper naphthenate, also known as QNAP. Oil-borne preservatives are known to have proven efficacy. QNAP will protect your crossing timbers for years to come. Plus, it’s cleaner and safer to use in the field compared to traditional treatments.
