Stringer Bridges
Wheeler combines glued-laminated timber or steel stringers with panelized timber decking to provide a complete bridge kit. All components are shop fabricated ready for simplified installation, even in remote locations.

Glued-laminated or Steel Stringers
Glued-laminated stringers offer a preferred aesthetic and straight forward installation. QNAP pressure treatment provides maximum durability.
Steel beams are used for the longest spans or for a smaller depth-of-section. Self-weathering, painted and galvanized finishes are available. Wheeler is an AISC certified fabricator for Intermediate Bridge and a founding member of the Short Span Steel Bridge Alliance.
Panelized Deck System
QNAP treated timber panels offer a durable and fast installing deck system. Compatible with TL-2 and TL-4 (NCHRP 350) crash-tested railing systems, they provide the complete bridge kit for accelerated bridge construction. Interconnected panel details effectively accommodate an asphalt wear surface. Timber wear surfaces are appropriate for remote locations or private applications where the wood aesthetic is preferred.
